        我最喜歡的英倫樂團之一的PULP在這首歌裡的歌詞實在非常經典.歌名可以翻譯為"爛再版",我自己也非常討厭翻唱別人作品的歌手與樂團(包括U2也老是做這種鳥事),除了自己沒創意只會攀著原創者的腿吠之外,唱得好的也沒幾個.我想這也是自己排斥聽國內音樂市場的原因之一,有事沒事翻唱過外的歌來當主打,騙得一堆只聽中文歌的普羅阿呆團團轉的,看到這個光景實在令人做噁.一直維持地下樂團之姿的PULP在這片抄襲聲中以這部諷刺的MTV當作污泥中的清流實在帥呆了!
        第一次聽到這首歌是在大學畢業時.此MTV找來許多幾可亂真的角色扮演真人,打扮,唱腔都逼真到讓人捧腹大笑.PULP也直接點名這些藝人其實都是喜歡翻唱別人作品的爛傢伙.只是如果你連一個都不認識,那也只是白看一場罷了.
        以下是我對主唱Jarvis作的詞的翻譯,由於PULP的歌相當LOCAL,有些語句只有聽英國電台看英國頻道的英國人才懂得...

(此卡通在於動作誇張滑稽,多了配音員反而失去原味)
那就像八零年代後的滾石,像最近的southfork.
(滾石在80年代後了無新意,至於southfork我不知道是啥)
像”浩劫餘生”搬到電視上演,像"'Til the Band Comes in"的再版.
(浩劫餘生就是”決戰猩球”這部翻拍片的原版電影,翻拍的也很爛.
而把電影搬到電視上總是讓人不忍粹睹;至於Til the Band Comes in我不知道是啥)
就像一個自有品牌的玉米片盒子上的廣告詞說的,
“喔朋友,我們會讓你體重下降(失望)!!”
(雙關語: let you down有”讓人失望”之意!)
